  1. The PARADISE DUA (DE)

  4. Building DE:
  5.  
  6. There are several ways to build this release of DE.
  7.  
  8. - DE built as part of ISODE-8.0
  9.   is the normal way of building DE at this release.  Instructions for this
  10.   build are in README.ISODE
  11.  
  12. - DE built against ISODE-8.0, but not built within the main release.  This
  13.   may help builds against binary ISODE distributions. Instructions for 
  14.   this build are in README.ISODE
  15.  
  16. - LDAP DE
  17.   builds a version of DE that uses LDAP (the Lightweight Directory Access
  18.   Protocol) to talk to an LDAP daemon that then talks to your DSA.  You must
  19.   have built the LDAP libraries and daemon before building this version
  20.   of DE.  Instructions fot this build are in README.LDAP
  21.  
  22. - DOS-DE, built on an MS-DOS personal computer
  23.   to build DOS-DE go into the `dos-de' directory and see the `README.TXT' file
  24.   for instructions.  Before building this release you must have built the LDAP
  25.   libraries on the PC on which you are going to build DOS-DE.
