- Building DE:

- There are several ways to build this release of DE.

- - DE built as part of ISODE-8.0
- is the normal way of building DE at this release. Instructions for this
- build are in README.ISODE

- - DE built against ISODE-8.0, but not built within the main release. This
- may help builds against binary ISODE distributions. Instructions for
- this build are in README.ISODE

- - LDAP DE
- builds a version of DE that uses LDAP (the Lightweight Directory Access
- Protocol) to talk to an LDAP daemon that then talks to your DSA. You must
- have built the LDAP libraries and daemon before building this version
- of DE. Instructions fot this build are in README.LDAP

- - DOS-DE, built on an MS-DOS personal computer
- to build DOS-DE go into the `dos-de' directory and see the `README.TXT' file
- for instructions. Before building this release you must have built the LDAP
- libraries on the PC on which you are going to build DOS-DE.
